At times I feel so good, along with having eyelashes, brows and hair that I forget I've had cancer. Even with all the scars on my reconstructed body, I almost forget what I've been through, which is great. Funny isn't it? The scars are now just part of who I am now.
But then I have to have my port flushed or visit my oncologist for a check up. Don't get me wrong, I know I need to go to these appointments, but it makes it hard to put it all past me. It's a reminder that Triple Negative BC is relentless. Yesterday had my port flushed, next month I"ll see the Onc. then he'll schedule a PET scan.
On a side note. Next month, July 6th I get my nipples....Yeah for nipples!!!!
