End of Cycle 2

Wow 2 cycles down, who knows how many I have left. I'm looking forward to PET scans in 2 months and praying for good results.
Today is No chemo Thursday. I feel so good, so full of energy.

My white counts are very low right now, and with that comes the nasty fungal infection women hate. (maybe TMI for some of you), I get one at the end of every cycle because my body has nothing to fight with. Funny how the chemistry in your body has to be at a certain standard, or bad things happen. Our bodies are truly amazing.

Plan on doing some outdoor painting this weekend, and making the kids spread mulch....(that ought to be fun). As usual I will probably wear myself out and go back to work on Monday to get some rest.

Oh - Yesterday I went to work totally bald. Got a few "atta girls". It felt good. My work family has to deal with this just like my family does. Also funny how many people I work with are totally out of the loop. Someone actually asked Carla, if I had cancer. Did people think my hats and scarves I was wearing was a new fashion trend???? I get a chuckle out of it all sometimes. I guess I must not look like I'm sick if people I see every day can't tell.
