Went off without a hitch!!!

First let me say that the lymph node that was swollen is no longer swollen. Praise God. Doc said it could have been a little virus or something, and felt all the nodes in my neck and said all was fine, and "we'll scan you again after your treatments" so no need to worry.

Was a long day. Got there at 12:30 and left at 5:30....I slept a little, but not much during my treatment. Even Kevin took nap. The place was empty. It was me 2 other people. I was the last to leave.

This is Terina, one of the lovely lab ladies. Before every treatment she takes my temp, BP, pulse, my weight, which is the worst part, and sticks my finger to make it bleed for my blood counts. Funny I've known these people for so long they're almost like family. I walk around the lab like I own the place. It's as comfortable as my kitchen.

This is the Chemo Suite, like I said before Suite is a silly word. There are chairs like this that run along side of the walls. There is probably about 30 chairs. Today I will sit in the chair next to Kevin. As you can see there are spring things on the window. They try to make the place as happy as they can. There are stuffed animals on the IV poles and they are seasonal as well.
So far I feel fine and I am ready to eat the dinner that Holly Gaskill, from my church brought for us. I love my church and all the people in it!!!
I plan to post again this weekend.
