The UglyC will soon be claiming another innocent victim. This is a picture of Pam Bishop, a friend of Kevin's that I had the pleasure of meeting about 3 years ago. She was diagnosed with Lung cancer in 2005 (never smoked a day in her life) and she fought so hard. We had the pleasure of attending her 50th birthday party last year. She is very strong in her love for the Lord.

Dear Friends,
Just a note to let you know that I believe Pam is nearing the end of this earthly journey. The past two days she has spent most of the time sleeping, due in part to increased pain medication. My brother Mark and sister Amy were here this weekend and she did respond and talk a little when they were with her. She also spoke a few words to friends on the phone. She is eating small amounts of food ( mostly sweet rolls or donuts) and I've been putting her meds in pudding to help her swallow them. Her nurses from hospice were here Friday and , though no one can tell for sure, feel that at most she has a couple of weeks with us. Other family members are coming in today and this week.

Your continued prayers are such a support to us, and I can't begin to thank you enough for them.
