Chemo postponed for a day

Well I feel like today was a total waste of time. Good thing I went to work in the morning. At least I got some things accomplished there.
My appointment was at 12:45, we arrived 10 minuets late, but all was well, so I thought....

Found out my oncologist was called away for an emergency, so I will see a different doc, no problem.. Guess what today is at the oncologists office??? GO LIVE day with a new computer system..oh yippie, so things are going to be a little slow...I can handle it, where else do I have to go? -Got back to the chemo suite around 2:00 after labs and talking with the doc. -Sat for 45 min before a nurse tried to access my port...gosh this is really going slllooowww-My port is very temperamental and sometimes they have to inject a drug (we call it draino) to get it working....well today was one of those days -Ok put the draino in it and sit for half an hour. Now it's 3:30....My total chemo treatment takes about 3 hours .-Well like I said it's 3:30 now and my port is a go, it's working now. But they can't give me the treatment today because that would put us at 6:30 end time, and the Dr. has to get to the airport to catch a flight, so without a Dr. present they can not administer the chemo.
