2nd treatment

The second treatment went well today and the Suite was kind of crowded today. Sometimes I get so frustrated with doing this a 3rd time, but the people I met and talked to made me feel better. First I saw a woman who I've seen off and on for the past 3 years. She has been fighting ovarian cancer for the past 8 years. She said "I thought it was you, but you have hair!!!" I said ya I'm back at it. Was nice to see a familiar face.

Then met a woman who was fighting BC for the 2nd time. This time it was in her lungs.

Met a man who was accompanied by his 3 adult children who was fighting a cancer that started in his groin and is now in is lungs. I could tell he was a strong proud man, he said he loves playing tennis, but the chemo was keeping him from playing. He also said that when he had the cancer he didn't feel sick and now he's sick, but it's from the chemo. Looking back, he wished he just would have let the cancer run it's course because this was worse for him.

I tell ya, If you are ever having a bad day or feeling sorry for yourself, go visit some people being treated for cancer or just stop and think about people who are fighting this aweful, Ugly thing. You will see that your day and your life is not as bad as you feel it is.

Don't forget to Praise God for allowing you to open your eyes this morning!!
